Warning: Phishing E-mails Sent To Our Customers

WhiteHorse Communications, Inc. (WHC) is warning of "phishing" emails that were sent out to our Eaze.Net customers and possibly others claiming to originate from the "eaze.net Email Management."

The scam e-mail tells the recipient that their account will be terminated and asks for their full e-mail address, username, and password details to prevent deactivation and service interruption. These details are used to access a person's e-mail account, and/or using their e-mail account to send other phishing e-mails.

We never use emails, telephone calls, or external companies to ask for their username, password, or any other personal information. We would strongly encourage anyone receiving such an e-mail to immediately delete it from their computer or inbox.
